Rob Allison joined the Community Foundation in late 2008 after serving as interim director of the Center for Economic Development and Business Research at Wichita State University, Prior to this role, he retired from Bank of America where he served as the Kansas President and Wichita market President.
He relocated to Wichita with his wife and two sons in 1996 to lead Bank of America’s Private Bank and Trust Division. His Banking career began in Illinois where he was President and CEO of Boatmen’s Trust Company of Illinois.
“Rob has the passion and ability to listen to donors, listen to the community and then help create the change needed to make a difference” said Nancy Martin, past Board Chairman.
Allison currently serves on the community advisory boards of the Go Wichita Convention & Visitors Bureau, the WSU Wichita Area Outlook Team and the Visioneering Wichita Steering Committee.
He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Leadership Wichita, Advance Kansas and recently completed the Kansas Leadership Center -- Civic Leadership Lab for Community Foundations.



Carol Nazar loves her job. “Before coming to the Foundation, I was on the other side of the funding fence, I was always looking for money - here I get to help donors give it away.” A graduate of KU and New York University, Carol brings twenty years of experience in the nonprofit world to the Foundation. She is in charge of donor services, scholarships, administration of various grant rounds and grant writing for the Foundation. If asked about the best grant project she was ever part of, she'll tell you it's the next one.



Mr. Healy brings considerable financial expertise to his new role. Previously he served as the Corporate Controller for Liberty Agency Markets in Keene, NH, Chief Accounting Officer for the One Beacon Insurance Group in Boston and most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Zurich Insurance Programs in Omaha. Mr. Healy began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick in Chicago. A Kansas native, he is a graduate of the University of Kansas with an MBA in Accounting and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

He has a belief in and desire to help our community, and a passion for the Wichita Community Foundation’s mission. “



Penny Kylar is the Office Manager of the Foundation. With boundless energy, she easily handles complex IT tasks, donor inquiries and financial data entry. Each fall Penny is the point person for the citywide Share the Season campaign. Processing applications for help, acknowledging donations from all over Wichita and orchestrating those critical payments, this is the person in charge who makes it happen.
