The Wichita Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest arts organizations in Kansas. Their mission is to provide high quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible.

Victor Murdock Grants

Established in 1974 by Capt. Victor Delano, the grandson of Victor and Pearl Murdock, this endowed fund is committed to benefiting the quality of life in Wichita, KS. In addition to established scholarships at Newman, Friends and Wichita State universities, the Murdock Fund underwrites the annual Victor Murdock journalism award presented by the Kansas Press Association and conducts a yearly grant round to benefit non-profits in Wichita, Kansas.
